Goodbye, Denver!

We're at Denver International Airport this morning, waiting to catch our flight to Philly and then drive home to Chestertown.

I'd heard lots of rumors about this airport - the conspiracy theories abound. Apparently there's a hidden runway, arces of unused space, underground barbbed wire enclosures like an encampment, new world order and Masonic architecture, creepy murals, UFO landing zones, eletromagnetic forces and reptilian hominids. I cannot confirm any of this, except to say that it IS huge. There's also a fantastically strange welcoming sculpture: a gigantic blue horse, reering up on it's hind legs, wind in it's hair, it's menacing eyes -get this - glowing red! Way to say "hello." Its certainly odd.
