Hi everyone,
Well, we almost lost another round of LitHouse programming to the forces of nature -- this time Eyjafjallajökull, the Icelandic volcano that nearly grounded our 2010 PEN World Voices Festival fellow Rodrigo Fresán on the other side of the Atlantic.
But we're happy to inform you that Rodrigo is in transit and will be here for both of his events at the LitHouse this week!
Reading: Tuesday, April 20 at 4:30pm
Public conversation on "Argentina, Bolaño, Barcelona": Wednesday, April 21 (also at 4:30pm)
Please join us for this unique opportunities -- and help us celebrate the post-Eyjafjallajökull adventures of our special guest.
Hope to see you this week!
Mark
Hi, sorry this is not a comment but a question. I am a reader of Fresan and just found out today (April 21, 10am, via reading his column today on Pagina12) that he is in the area and then about today's public conversation. But I can not make it with such short notice. So I was wondering if there will be any other public appearance of Fresan in Maryland before he sets off for NY. I would appreciate any information on this respect, sent to my email address preferentially (jchaname at dtm.ciw.edu). Thanks.
