In response to the latest rampant speculation and dreadful rumors that this week's Washington College Sophie Kerr speaker, Daniel Handler, is, in fact, actually the notorious novelist Lemony Snicket, we at the Lit House have only this to say: NO COMMENT.
However, we do feel that it would be wise for you to come prepared to his 4pm Reading in Decker Theatre, Gibson Arts Center this Friday, just in case. For your edification, then, we present the first 12 Lemony Snicket books in 120 seconds:
A little known fact about Mr. Handler is that he IS the adjunct accordionist for the band The Magnetic Fields and a key player in The Gothic Archies. This we are sure of. Sample is musical wares here:
We're glad that Mr. Handler is coming our way. It's a very fortunate event.

Hi Lit House -
Just got back from his talk and it was MOST excellent. Do you know if a recording was made and if/when it might go up on iTunesU? I know some folks who really need to hear it and couldn't make it.
