Due to the large number of requests that are still coming in for tickets to our Monday, April 27th 7:30pm "Night with Neil Gaiman," also advertised by the PEN American Center's World Voices Festival as "Neil Gaiman in Conversation with Joshua Wolf Shenk," we are moving the event to a different venue. Doors will still open at 6:45pm.
The event was to be held at the Prince Theatre, 210 High Street. We are moving the event to the Russell Gymnasium, Cain Gym on Washington College's campus. Washington College's address is 300 Washington Ave., Chestertown, MD, 21620. This venue is about 2 minutes from the original venue, and more parking will be available. This also allows us to increase the number of people who can attend the event.
For those of you who are ticket holders, your ticket now guarantees you a seat in the first few rows, which will be reserved for ticket holders only. If your ticket is being held at Will Call, you will be able to retrieve it at the door. For those of you who do not have a ticket, there is now seating for an additional 700 people, but the remaining seats will still be first-come, first-served. No tickets remain - all 250 went. Please queue kindly and allow our staff and student staff to assist you!
Please spread the word about this change to your friends and fellow-ticket holders. We will be posting this information in as many places as possible to reach out to all of Neil's Eastern Shore fans.
We apologize for the last minute change.
Please call Kate Bursick at 410-778-7899 or email Owen Bailey at obailey2@washcoll.edu with your questions.
SO SO happy about this! Thanks you for moving it :)
Wondering, just to be clear, there are no tickets to be reserved anymore? Or can we still call to reserve a spot juuuuuust in case? (I'm coming from pretty far away, so I just want to make sure of everything prior to coming)

Hi Ali,
You're welcome!
There are no additional tickets to be reserved. All 250 went fast.
We're honoring those 250 by allowing them the reserved front 250 seats in the gymnasium.
The rest are first-come, first-served, and travel is a decision that each individual will have to make on their own.
Doors open at 6:45pm. Please queue nicely!
Thanks!
Kate
